Westbourne Academy London is close to the Tower of London and the business and shopping district of Canary Wharf and a ten-minute walk from the River Thames footpath where you can walk along the river or take a ferry to Greenwich or the city centre. The school is easy to access by many buses or trains.

Accommodation & Welfare

Westbourne Academy can arrange accommodation for students who take courses at the school. Homestay providers are carefully selected for their friendliness as well as their experience in taking care of students. After the first inspection by our accommodation officer they are regularly re-inspected by the school. Most students take homestay accommodation, which involves living as a member of the home. We do not place more than four adult students in homestay accommodation.

Some students prefer Private Home Accommodation. There may be less of a family environment in this type of accommodation. These homes are also selected by the Westbourne Academy and revisited regularly by the accommodation department.

The safety and security of all our students is a prime consideration. Homestay accommodation gives our students many opportunities for extra language practice and also helps them to understand English culture and customs.

There is a full-time welfare officer available to give advice and help. Your homestay accommodation will include breakfast and dinner with the addition of a snack lunch at weekends. The cost also includes one wash for your clothes each week.
