Hello, I’m Louise, the Director of Studies at Westbourne Academy. With a rich background spanning 17 years in education, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse countries such as Slovakia, Vietnam, Spain, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, and Thailand. Throughout my journey, I’ve held various roles in teaching, training, and management, bringing a wealth of experience to my current position.

Having joined Westbourne Academy in June, I’ve found immense joy in my role. The vibrant mix of nationalities and cultures here is truly inspiring, and I’m continually impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm our students bring to their English language learning journey.

Originally hailing from the North-East of England, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for Bournemouth and its picturesque surroundings. Taking leisurely walks along the beach has become a cherished pastime, allowing me to soak in the beauty of our coastal home.

Outside of work, you’ll find me engaging in fitness classes, a passion that complements my love for music and the theatre. It’s a pleasure to be part of the Westbourne Academy community, where each day brings new opportunities to foster a love for language and learning among our students.
